    Pentathlon Camp

    Kelly and Shaylea represented Rising Star at the pentathlon camp/competition in Palm Desert this weekend.  They received jumping instruction from Michael Cintas, USA Olympic Pentathlon equestrian coach, shooting lessons from UCLA's rifle coach and fencing lessons from a World Cup fencing coach.  Kelly won the shooting competition for 11-12 yr. olds, 2nd place for jumping, swimming and running.  Shaylea won the swimming competition for 9-10 yr. olds, 2nd for jumping, shooting and running. 

    It was a very busy, fun weekend!!
